I support a balanced perspective if state revenues are not adequate: Cuts where appropriate, tax increases through closing loopholes and perhaps expanding the higher tax rate on the size of the group considered to be the wealthiest from 2 to 5%, and using the rainy day fund if necessary.

I believe the current MN limits are adequate for individuals, PACs and Political Parties. I would severely limit the amount a corporation or business could contribute and require that the officers and employees who donated be identified along with the amount they gave.

My priorities are education, infrastructure and transportation, alternative energy development and jobs and the economy: Smaller class sizes, more funding for preschool opportunities, emphasis on quality, freezing tuition at state post secondary institutions, comprehensive, dedicated, sustainable and balanced funding of transportation evaluation, monitoring and repair or replacement of aging infrastructure more solar, wind and bio fuels R and D restored funds for job training, and other back to work programs. If adequate revenue is not available, possibly using the rainy day fund or prioritizing wants and needs to live within the budgets.
